Welcome to the Cat's Tales portion of Whoopy-Cat's World. The stories found on this site are original creations of Joel "Whoopy-Cat" Illian (that's me! :) unless specified otherwise. The author reserves all rights to these stories. You are welcome to read my stories, print them for your own personal use, and even to share them with friends. However, the author reserves all rights to these stories for commercial use. Most of the stories are fairly short. The exact length of each story can be found next to the title in the index below. I've listed the stories' lengths in two ways: 1.) The number of words (according to MS Word 2002's rules), and 2.) the number of pages, again, according to Microsoft Word 2002, using 10-point Verdana font, single-spaced. Obviously the number of pages could be different depending on the printer settings, format, etc. I only list the number of pages as a rough guideline to help you better visualize how long or short each story is. In most cases, the stories are available in four different formats. 1.) Standard HTML Format (like this page). 2.) Fast-loading/Printer-friendly pages (if you have a terribly slow connection or want to print a story to be read later). 3.) Downloadable Word (.doc) Document (if you'd rather download the story to your computer - you'll need Microsoft Word or the free Microsoft Word Reader {microsoft.com}). 4.) Downloadable Rich Text Format (.rtf) Document (if you use some other word processor).
